A well-known online family tree and supporter of the popular television program, Who Do You Think You Are?. There is a charge to use Ancestry to search sources or do any research and, depending on your budget, may be a bit pricey. The website allows you to upload your information, pictures, and stories about your ancestors. Results of searches sometimes are a bit idiosyncratic, and it is recommended that you look at results that Ancestry labels less likely to be your ancestor. Be careful about spelling, as Ancestry is not always good at guessing alternative spellings...you may have to try these out yourself. Ancestry continues to add source material, so check back often.
